job Description:

The Logistics Coordinator – General Logistics organizes complete handling of air/sea/land import & export products, as well as clearing & forwarding and warehousing, effectively and professionally. Once a commercial agreement is reached, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all documentation is complete and correct, cargo moves at the scheduled time, and all key stakeholders are kept updated.

Responsibilities

  • Good and significant experience in offshore logistics operations
  • Capability to optimize, when necessary, the logistics cost by providing an economical solution
  • Enter Orders in the system & follow the entry process.
  • Entering order details in the Billing Tracker Sheet
  • Check if the order is clear for releasing the Shipping Instructions
  • Coordinate with Logistics to release the Shipping Instructions and follow up for the shipping dates.
  • Track the EX-Factory dates and Shipping details.
  • Request for billing once Terms of Sales are met with the customer
  • Send shipment updates to clients. Issue PO/ SOA for back-to-back sales
  • Ensure timely delivery of documents to destinations to avoid Demurrages and​.
  • Prepare all presentations required as per Manager instruction.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers.
  • Handle All Export LC documentation (Finalizing LC draft with customers, making LC documents, submit documents to bank etc..) 
  •  handle any Export documentation requirements.
  • Follow up on shipping advice from source units.
  • To coordinate with local suppliers for delivery instructions

. Experience/Education/Skill-set Required

  • 3+ years’ experience preferably in relevant field.
  • Order processing experience
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft dynamic or similar ERP system
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, power-point, word etc.)
  • Trading experience preferred.
